A New Chapter for SpatialChat: Our journey, growth, and exciting future with QuestionPro

When we set out on this journey 4.5 years ago in April 2020, we just wanted to create a flexible and dynamic communication service. What began as a simple idea has evolved into something much larger — a platform that would be used by 10,000+ companies, hundreds of schools and 6 million users across the US, EU, and Japan.
SpatialChat began during the COVID pandemic, a time when the world faced unprecedented challenges. We had the opportunity to support thousands of organizations in transitioning to online communication, striving to make virtual interactions as effective as in-person meetings. The experience was both challenging and rewarding, and witnessing the positive impact on our users has been incredibly fulfilling.

Today, I am thrilled to share some exciting news — SpatialChat has been strategically acquired by QuestionPro, a US-based global leader in research and experience management technology, founded by Vivek Bhaskaran. This acquisition marks a new chapter for us, and I am incredibly excited about what the future holds. Our core team, which many of our customers have come to know and trust, will remain in place. However, will also welcome new leadership, with Riddhik Kochhar as CEO and James Park as CRO, to guide SpatialChat's next phase of growth.
Originally founded in Europe, SpatialChat is now headquartered in San Francisco, with a strong focus on global expansion while continuing to lead the market in Europe and Japan. The company remains committed to its mission: to innovate in online communication and deliver the best possible virtual collaboration experiences for our users.
This next growth phase will leverage AI to enhance SpatialChat’s platform capabilities, optimize performance, enable real-time analytics, and deliver personalized solutions across diverse customer verticals.
My co-founders — Vladimir Zakoulov, Andrei Grudkin, Roman Skvazh, Dany Chepenko — and I are incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, and we are excited to see the platform continue to grow and evolve under Riddhik’s leadership.
